decided that our office needed a mix to hail the coming of this beautiful Portland summer weather. Aphex Twin’s Xtal wound up on the top of the mix. Originally featured on Aphex Twin’s Selected Ambient Works 85-92, this is an amazing song, and an even more amazing album. I highly recommend dropping some scrilla for this piece. If you can find it on vinyl, even better. Be sure to give this a listen, and I’ll be sure to post more of what has officially been dubbed the Colorcubic Helios mix. Enjoy!

Good song, been meaning to get some Aphex Twin music for some time as I’m a big fan of electronic music…

Hey Mark,
glad to hear you like it. Yeah, Aphex Twin does good work, although my favorite batch of songs he’s produced are featured on the “Selected Ambient Works 85 – 92″ which Xtal is featured on.
You should also consider checking out Nueva Forma™. You might find you like some of the artists on there as well.
Later Mark,
