How Will I Feel Tomorrow by Bell Plaines from Johnny Le on Vimeo.

A

soundscape of luscious pads, droning guitars, and reverberated melodies make up Bell Plaines‘ (a.k.a Spencer Redmond Gentz) How Will I Feel Tomorrow. Produced and directed by Johnny Le (who’s fabulous eye for emotional content & visual sequences never ceases to amaze), all shot using a Canon 7D, this video brings me to an emotional place that I wish I could feel all of the time.

What really grabs me about this whole video sequence is the combination of unpretentious song writing, beautiful color correction, and the art of story telling without words or lyrics (which is always a monumental challenge when done right). I especially love how Johnny managed to capture the very essence of what it’s like to be on the road for an extended period of time, and the ever-changing atmosphere from city to city.

Be sure to check out more work by Johnny Le at johnnylefilms.com, and also be sure to visit more works by Bell Plaines. Both of which are definitely on the up & up.
