enaud Hallée is an experimental filmmaker and audiovisual composer from Montreal. His short animation Sonar is a rhythmic cycle that evolves into a complex soundscape using its own logic and language — and was made entirely in Flash. The simple geometry is synced to the music so naturally and in a very captivating way. I saw this quite a while ago, and since then, have been anxious to see more work from him. Sadly, it looks as if his site has been collecting dust for the last year or so. Despite that, I still love this video.
