Nick Campbells blog is a very good for slightly more experienced users who are looking to do something new, but for totally beginner users Id recommend http://www.vertex-pusher.com/ Its certainly not as glamours, but really taught me a lot of fundamentals that you wont get from nicks site (as well as some critical do’s and don’ts).
